About the YWA

The Yale Whiffenpoofs Alumni, Inc. (YWA) is the alumni association for the Whiffenpoofs, America's oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group. Since 1909, the Whiffenpoofs have welcomed a new class of songsters each year, creating an alumni community that spans generations and remains connected through shared tradition, song, and fellowship.

The YWA supports the Whiffenpoof community by organizing events and gatherings, supporting participation in reunions, and stewarding Whiffenpoof history and archives for future generations. Through these efforts, the association helps sustain connections between alumni and undergraduates alike, ensuring that the Whiffenpoof tradition remains vibrant, accessible, and enduring.
